Mr Sadikin began his career in 1988 as the Information Technology Officer at IBM’s Asia-Pacific Headquarters in Tokyo, Japan and worked at IBM until 1994 culminating as Manager of Systems Integration & Professional Services. Subsequently, he joined PT Bank Bali Tbk. until 1999 and had held various managerial roles, including General Manager of Human Resources.

Mr Sadikin then moved to ABN AMRO Bank Indonesia and remained there until 2004. His last position at the bank was Director of Consumer and Commercial Banking (Senior Vice President) for ABN AMRO Bank Indonesia & Malaysia. Following his time at ABN AMRO, Mr Sadikin joined PT Bank Danamon Tbk. as the Head of Consumer Banking (Executive Vice President) and later the Director of Adira Quantum Multi Finance.

In 2006, he joined Bank Mandiri Tbk. as the Director of Micro & Retail Banking. After which, he was assigned as President Director of Bank Mandiri in 2013 and continued until March 2016. After completing his tenure at Bank Mandiri Tbk., he served as the Senior Advisor to the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises from 2016 until 2017 and afterwards was appointed as the Chairman for PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium (Persero).

Between September 2017 and November 2019, he was the Group Chief Executive Officer of Mining Industry Holding Company, PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium (Persero) which is comprised of PT Aneka Tambang Tbk, PT Bukit Asam Tbk, PT Timah Tbk, and PT Freeport Indonesia as Holding Members.

Mr Sadikin was the Vice Minister I of State-owned Enterprises and tasked to establish market leading and globally competitive state-owned enterprises. From July 2020 until 22 December 2020, he led the National Economic Recovery and Transformation Task Force amidst the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia.

On 23 December 2020, he was appointed by the President of Republic of Indonesia as the Minister of Health. He is assigned to lead the COVID-19 vaccination program for the nation and improve health services in Indonesia.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance
Member of Parliament, Marsiling-Yew Tee GRC
Republic of Singapore

Mr Lawrence Wong is the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance. He is also a Member of Parliament for Marsiling-Yew Tee GRC. He co-chairs the Multi-Ministry Taskforce on COVID-19, and is the Deputy Chairman of the Monetary Authority of Singapore. He is also a member of the GIC Board, the Future Economy Council, the Research, Innovation and Enterprise Council and the National Research Foundation Board, and       co-chairs the Singapore-Shanghai Comprehensive Cooperation Council.

In addition, he contributes to the labour movement as Chairman of the Singapore Labour Foundation, as well as Advisor to the Union of Power and Gas Employees, and the Building Construction and Timber Industries Employees’ Union.

Mr Wong was first elected as a Member of Parliament in May 2011. He has held positions in the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Communications and Information, the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, the Ministry of National Development, and the Ministry of Education.

Prior to entering politics, Mr Wong was a civil servant. He was previously the Chief Executive of the Energy Market Authority and the Principal Private Secretary to Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.

Mr Wong was educated at Tanjong Katong Secondary School and Victoria Junior College. He obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. He also holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School.

Room to Read

Mr Joel Bacha has worked for more than 15 years in the field of educational development. He joined Room to Read in 2010 to develop early grades reading programmes with country teams in Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. As the Global Project Director at Room to Read, Mr Bacha works to design and strategically implement custom projects to reach more children in new geographic regions and he also heads Room to Read’s new Project Management Unit. Most recently, Mr Bacha has been coordinating and providing strategic guidance to Room to Read projects in Indonesia, Jordan, Pakistan, Uganda and the United States.

Through past consultancies with UNESCO and UNICEF, Mr Bacha has worked across the education spectrum with more than 30 countries on issues such as teacher education, curriculum development, literacy and life skills development, multilingual education, and water and sanitation in schools.

Mr Bacha received his Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering from the University of California San Diego, and a dual Master of Arts in Language Education and Educational Development from the Monterey Institute of International Studies, California.

Mr Bacha has published a curriculum guide for Japanese teachers, taught university courses on the United Nations Millennium Development Goals, and worked with governments and education partners to combat poverty through quality education.

Temasek Foundation

Mr Lim Hock Chuan is the Head of Programmes at Temasek Foundation. He oversees the Foundation’s work in nurturing the communities and uplifting lives, building bridges and connecting people in the region as well as advancing science to create a sustainable world. Mr Lim was a respected senior leader in the public sector. He has extensive experience in various areas of public administration including security, media, finance, human resource management, international negotiation and healthcare. In recognition for Mr Lim’s contribution to the civil service, he was awarded the Public Administration Medal (Gold) by the President of Singapore.

Prior to joining Temasek in 2016, Mr Lim was the Chief Executive Officer of St Luke’s Hospital and St Luke’s Eldercare. He was also the Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Finance and the Deputy Secretary of Ministry of Home Affairs.

Mr Lim holds a first class honours degree in Engineering from the University of Auckland in New Zealand, a Master of Engineering degree from the National University of Singapore, and a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University.

Ms Elizabeth Cousens became the UN Foundation’s third President and Chief Executive Officer in 2020. She is a diplomat and thought leader who has worked on the frontlines of peace processes, played an influential role in UN policy innovations from peacebuilding to the Sustainable Development Goals, and helped build public-private partnerships to solve global challenges at scale.

She previously served as U.S. Ambassador to the UN Economic and Social Council, Alternate Representative to the UN General Assembly, and Principal Policy Advisor and Counselor to the Permanent Representative of the United States to the United Nations. She has written widely on conflict management, peace processes, state-building, and the United Nations.

Ms Cousens has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from the University of Puget Sound and a Doctor of Philosophy in International Relations from the University of Oxford, where she was a Rhodes Scholar.

Mr John Colombo represents Clime Capital for investments in Indonesia. Ms Rose Sagun manages The Education Commission’s High Touch High Tech for All (HTHT), which aims to deliver the vision of personalised learning for all, especially the most marginalised learners, by harnessing the unique strengths of the teacher (High Touch) and the power of Artificial Intelligence (High Tech). AI powers adaptive content and assessment to develop foundational learning while the teacher develops higher-order 21st century competencies such as critical thinking, collaboration, and socio-emotional learning. This integrated approach has the tremendous potential to accelerate learning for all-at scale.

HTHT has been piloted in Vietnam and extensively implemented in South Korea under the leadership of Education Commission Asia with successful results. A 100-school pilot in Uruguay is ongoing, in partnership with Education Commission Asia, the Inter-American Development Bank, and Plan Ceibal. HTHT aims to expand across Southeast Asia, Ghana, and other parts of the world where such innovation could accelerate and transform learning and teaching outcomes in a post-COVID-19 world.

Ms Sagun’s extensive experience in education ranges from school leadership and public policy to designing frontier innovations in a large portfolio of Environment, Social, and Governance initiatives. She has developed an award-winning learning experience for Globe Telecom, a major telecommunications player in the Philippines with Singtel as one of its major principals.

Ms Sagun graduated with a master's degree in International Education Policy with a special focus on emerging
evidence-based innovations from Harvard University. She serves as Co-Chair of Harvard Alumni for Education-San Francisco Bay Area chapter.

Assoc Prof Kenneth Mak is Director of Medical Services at the Ministry of Health Singapore. In this role, he oversees the provision of all health services in Singapore.

Since the beginning of COVID-19 pandemic, Assoc Prof Mak has been heavily involved in our national efforts to control the outbreak in Singapore. As Director of Medical Services in Ministry of Health, he advises the Multi-Ministry Taskforce as well as other governmental agencies in crafting our overall strategy for managing the outbreak and oversees our public health response to combat spread of COVID-19 in our community. Assoc Prof Mak is a familiar face as he has appeared regularly in the media conferences of the COVID-19 Multi-Ministry Taskforce.

Assoc Prof Kenneth Mak was previously Deputy Director of Medical Services (Health Services Group) in Ministry of Health from 2015 to end-2019. He worked closely with the Regional Health Systems and healthcare institutions in Singapore on care integration as well as on Singapore’s long-term healthcare transformation strategy.

Assoc Prof Kenneth Mak was trained as a general surgeon with subspecialty interests in hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery, as well as in trauma surgery. He maintains his clinical practice as a Senior Consultant surgeon in the Department of Surgery, at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, Singapore.

Jameel Institute, Imperial College London

Prof Katharina Hauck is the Deputy Director of the Abdul Latif Jameel Institute for Disease and Emergency Analytics and a professor in health economics at the School of Public Health, Imperial College London. She is specialised in the economics of infectious diseases and the economic evaluation of complex public health interventions. She is a co-convener of the economic analysis of the Infected Blood Inquiry in the United Kingdom (UK), member of the ‘International Joint Comparators Unit’ advising the UK cabinet office on international evidence in the fight against COVID-19, and she was co-chair for Economics of The Global Fund's Modelling Secretariat for the investment case of the sixth replenishment, and an Associate Editor of the journal ‘Health Economics’.

Her specific research interests focus on integrated
economic-epidemiological models to analyse the impact of infectious disease on economic outcomes, strengthening health systems and priority setting and cost-effectiveness analysis.

For more than 20 years, Ms Shamina Singh has been on the frontlines of developing and implementing solutions to make the global economy work for everyone, everywhere. Ms Singh is the Founder and President of the Center for Inclusive Growth, the philanthropic hub of Mastercard. She also serves as Executive Vice President of Corporate Sustainability and is a member of the company’s Management Committee.

In 2018, Mastercard pledged $500 million to create the Mastercard Impact Fund. Ms Singh was named President and charged with activating those philanthropic dollars to advance inclusive growth and financial inclusion around the world.

Mr Litovsky has more than two decades of experience working with banks, multinationals and governments creating innovative data analytics and collaborations to address global environmental trends. He has pioneered collaboration between banks, rating agencies and ecological scientists to change how sovereign credit analyses use environmental data to anticipate country tipping points. He has worked with companies around the world in resource-intensive sectors to align their investments with long-term country resilience and sustainability scenarios. Mr Litovsky has held senior positions at
London-based sustainability consultancies AccountAbility and Volans, has worked with Shell International's Future Scenarios team in London and AVINA, a Swiss-based foundation investing in sustainability models in Latin America to build their sustainable oceans strategy.

Mr Litovsky has been actively involved in the environmental movement for the past 25 years. In 2004, he received the London School of Economics’ Hobhouse Memorial Prize for highest academic achievement during Master of Science in Political Sociology. In 2012, he won a BMW Foundation Global Leaders Award for his pioneering work with Earth Security.

Mr Eddy Henry leads Tanoto Foundation’s Early Childhood Education and Development (ECED) programme where its main focuses are in: supporting government priority in accelerating stunting prevalence reduction, increasing quality parenting and caregiving practices for children 0 to 3, and advocating for increase access and quality of early childhood education. Through continuous learning, research, pilot programming, and multi-stakeholders public-private collaboration. Tanoto Foundation aims to advocate implementation of its ECED program to the wider audience.

Prior to joining Tanoto Foundation, Mr Eddy held multiple positions in Putera Sampoerna Foundation including Education Program Director as well as Alumni and Student Life Development Director. He had also been appointed as member of the United World College (UWC) International Council, and Asia Pacific International Baccalaureate (IB) Regional Council. Mr Eddy had also been in the industry as a director of a renown pharmaceutical distribution company and was the Chief Executive Officer of an IT company based in Indonesia and Singapore.

Ms Neo Gim Huay is Managing Director, Centre for Nature and Climate at the World Economic Forum. Before joining the Forum, she held various Managing Director roles in Temasek, including Climate Change Strategy, Sustainability and Enterprise Development. Temasek is an investment company, headquartered in Singapore with a net portfolio value of approx. USD$280 billion in 2020.

Ms Neo was responsible for seeding new businesses as well as working with Temasek’s existing portfolio of companies to develop strategy and build new capabilities. She also spearheaded Temasek’s sustainability strategy and initiatives across the organisation and within the community.

Prior to joining Temasek, Ms Neo was a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Co in the Lagos, New York and San Francisco offices. She also served in the Singapore Public Service as an Administrative Officer, with stints in the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Trade and Industry, the Prime Minister’s Office as well as the Singapore Embassy in the United States.

Mr Tony Kettinger joined Golden Agri-Resources Limited (GAR) as Chief Operating Officer in January 2021. In this role he drives operational and functional excellence, leads investment strategy, and builds on GAR’s leading position in sustainability to address climate change and emerging customer needs.

Mr Kettinger has over 25 years of global experience in food and agribusiness. Prior to joining GAR, he had a 15-year tenure in Cargill, where he last served as Group Managing Director and led a variety of food ingredient and agriculture processing businesses across Asia-Pacific. Early in his career, he held commodity trading and management positions with Wilmar/ADM in China and with ADM in North and South America. He has lived in the US, Brazil and China, and has been based in Singapore since 2017.

He serves on the Board of Directors of Sinarmas Cepsa, and previously served on the boards of joint ventures between Temasek and Cargill, and between Graincorp (Australia) and Cargill. As Executive Director of the Resilient Cities Network, Ms Lauren Sorkin leads global efforts in 100 cities in over 40 countries to deal with complex challenges including climate change, access to equitable opportunities and promoting a circular economy. Ms Sorkin serves as an adviser and spokesperson on urban resilience, women’s leadership sustainable finance, climate risk, and urbanisation trends. She is on the Advisory Board of Food Tank, Natural Capital and Smart Cities World Editorial Advisory Board. Previously with the Asian Development Bank, Ms Sorkin led the Bank’s first climate change investment plan, before mainstreaming climate risks and opportunities for Vietnam’s US$7 billion portfolio. Mr Bernard Tan is the Country President for Singapore, and the Managing Director for Strategic Projects and International Business Development for the Sinar Mas Group. Mr Tan was previously Chief Marketing Officer at ST Engineering. He was previously Acting Country Head of DBS Taiwan and subsequently headed PT Bank DBS Indonesia. Mr Tan was a Brigadier-General in the Singapore Armed Forces.

Mr Mason Wallick is the Managing Director of Clime Capital and a member of the SEACEF Investment Committee.

He has over 20 years’ experience supporting renewable energy and power-related assets and portfolios of investments through the development life cycle. Over this period, he has supported over US$70 billion dollars of successful debt and equity transactions.

Mr Wallick is a recognised and committed leader in the energy industry, frequently sought out for his views and market insights.

He previously founded Infunde Development and led the company as Chief Executive Officer. During this period, Infunde Development was awarded an exclusive development services agreement by InfraCo Asia to provide development services across Southeast Asia (excluding Myanmar), resulting in a portfolio of over 1GW of renewable capacity under development. Prior to Infunde Development, he founded Infunde Capital. Infunde Capital has provided due diligence and advisory support for over US$14 billion of successful energy and infrastructure developments in Asia Pacific on behalf of utility investors, lenders, and financial investors.

Mr Wallick held positions of increasing responsibility and leadership at recognised consulting firms, a hedge fund, and an investment bank before founding Infunde Capital and Infunde Development. He holds a Master of Science in Mineral Economics as well as a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, both from the Colorado School of Mines.

Ms Li Xin is Vice President of Caixin Media and Managing Director of Caixin Global, leading the company’s global news and intelligence services, as well as Caixin’s international branding and global events.

Before Caixin, she was the Managing Editor of the Chinese Wall Street Journal and Chinese Dow Jones Newswires.

This is her second stint at Caixin, where she was formerly the Managing Editor of Caixin - China Economics & Finance, an English-language magazine, and Caixin Online at Caixin Media.

In 2006, she founded Caijing Magazine’s first bureau in the United States, as a correspondent of politics and economics. Ms Li was a documentary producer at China Central Television between 2001 and 2004.

Ms Li holds a bachelor’s degree in English Language from Tsinghua University, a master’s degree in journalism from the Missouri School of Journalism, University of Missouri, and an Executive Master of Business Administration degree from the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business.

She is an Aspen China Fellow and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network, as well as a member of the International Media Council at the World Economic Forum. She is the Co-chair of the China Council for the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Councils.

Lucio Tan III has been appointed Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of the LT Group in 2022.

Mr Tan assumed the role of President and Chief Operating Officer at Tanduay Distillers, Inc. in late 2019. He steered the company throughout the pandemic and managed to boost its net income to P1.1 billion in 2020 and P1.2 billion in 2021. Under his leadership, Tanduay’s international business maintained its growth trajectory through aggressive marketing expansion and partnerships.

Apart from heading Tanduay, Mr Tan was appointed Vice President of PAL Holdings in 2021. He became Director of MacroAsia Corporation in December 2019. He has also serves as Director of Philippine Airlines, Philippine National Bank, Lufthansa Technik Philippines, MacroAsia Catering Services, MacroAsia SATS Inflight Services, MacroAsia Airport Services, MacroAsia Properties Development, Belton Communities, Eton City, First Homes, Sabre Travel Network Phils, Fortune Landequities and Resources, Ayala-Eton Property Development, PMFTC and PNB Holdings.

Currently a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization for both Local and International Chapter, Mr Tan has a strong background in engineering and technology, with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering where he received the Stanford University Frederick E. Terman Award, which is given to the top 5% of Stanford University engineering undergraduates and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Stanford University. Assoc Prof Ng Kee Chong is Chairman, Medical Board, and a Senior Consultant at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH).

Assoc Prof Ng’s illustrious career with KKH saw him as Head of Children’s Emergency (2005-2016), Singapore’s first such facility which he helped to establish in 1997. He was also Chairman of the Division of Medicine (2012-2017), and Chair of the SingHealth Academic Clinical Programme for Paediatrics (2012-2017). He led the set up of the Temasek Foundation Cares Trauma Network for Children and the KKH Regional Disaster Outreach Programme.

The first paediatrician in Singapore to practice paediatric emergency medicine, Assoc Prof Ng is currently the Vice President of the Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council and Co-chair of Emergent Issues Subcommittee, on the National Trauma Committee at Ministry of Health. He is also Chair of the Pediatric Life Support Taskforce of the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation.

In the region, Assoc Prof Ng has led various outreach teams to teach paediatric resuscitation in Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia and Chengdu, China.

Assoc Prof Ng holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the National University of Singapore, and a Master of Medicine (Paediatrics) Singapore. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, United Kingdom, has a Master of Business Administration from the Singapore Management University, and serves as a Clinical Associate Professor with the three medical schools in Singapore.

KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital

Dr Saumya Jamuar is Senior Consultant, Genetics Service at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH). He serves as the Lead Principal Investigator of the Singapore Childhood Undiagnosed Disease/BRIDGES Programme and is the Deputy Director (Clinical), SingHealth Duke-NUS Institute of Precision Medicine. He was also the inaugural head of the SingHealth Duke-NUS Genomic Medicine Centre.

Dr Jamuar completed his Genetics Fellowship at Harvard Medical School. He is actively involved in research, has presented at local and international meetings and published in top-tier journals including The New England Journal of Medicine and Nature Genetics. His research areas include rare genetic disorders, dysmorphology, skeletal dysplasia, and neurodevelopmental genetics. Assoc Prof Tan Ee Shien is Head of SingHealth Duke-NUS Genomic Medicine Centre, as well as Head and Senior Consultant for Genetics Service in KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH). She started her training in Paediatrics in KKH in 2000 and obtained her Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in 2002. She then pursued her interest in genetics and was awarded the Health Manpower Development Plan fellowship in 2005. Her passion is to ensure that all patients with genetic diseases have access to the best care available.

Assoc Prof Tan has been director of the National Newborn Screening Programme in Singapore since 2011. In this role, she has led the expansion of the list of disorders tested in newborns. The programme has been successful in ensuring that majority of the newborns in Singapore are tested.

Assoc Prof Tan is a strong believer in mentoring the next generation and is actively involved in education, serving as the paediatric clerkship director for the Duke NUS Graduate Medical School. She is also a Clinical Associate Professor in Duke-NUS Medical School and Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.

She was awarded clinician scientist Award 2009-2011 and remains involved in many genetics research projects.

Professor Jerry Chan is a senior Clinician Scientist and Senior Consultant with the Department of Reproductive Medicine at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH).

Prof Chan is also the Vice Chair, Research of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Academic Clinical Programme, and serves as the Director to both the KK Research Centre and the Maternal and Child Health Research Institute.

Prof Chan has major interests in advancing and optimising maternal and child health over the past 16 years. His research centers on addressing unmet clinical needs through the application of cutting-edge science to identify and develop solutions that can translate to benefits for patients and the society.

Prof Chan has been leading a basic science and clinical research team since 2005. He is also passionate in identifying and training future generations of Clinician Scientists in Singapore, with several of his students becoming prolific, independent Principal Investigators.

Ms Denise Phua is best known for her advocacy for those at risk of being left behind in Singapore and frequently speaks up for the disabled and Singaporeans with low-skilled and

An active volunteer, Ms Phua is the President and Chairperson of voluntary welfare organisations, Autism Resource Centre, Singapore and Autism Association Singapore. She helps supervise and is school board chairman for two special schools - the Pathlight School, which she co-founded, and the Eden School respectively. Ms Phua also helped founded The Purple Parade, an annual parade to support inclusion and showcase abilities; and The Purple Symphony, an inclusive orchestra.

Prior to her current portfolio, Ms Phua acquired more than 20 years of local and overseas corporate management experiences in Hewlett-Packard, the Wuthelam Group and founded the Centre for Effective Leadership (Asia).

Ms Phua gave up her corporate career in 2005 to become a  full-time special needs volunteer before being approached to join politics in 2006. Ms Ho Ching has been Chairman of Temasek Trust with effect from 1 April 2022.

Ms Ho began her engineering career with the Ministry of Defence in 1976, and joined the Singapore Technologies group as its Director Engineering in 1987. She became its President and Chief Executive Officer (1997-2001), and was the founding Chairman of Singapore Technologies Engineering (1997-2002).

Ms Ho joined Temasek as Executive Director in 2002, and retired from Temasek Holdings with effect from 1 October 2021, after serving some 17 years as its Chief Executive Officer.

Ms Ho is a Distinguished Engineering Alumnus of the National University of Singapore, and a Fellow of the Academy of Engineering, Singapore. Her pro bono public services included being Chairman of the Singapore Institute of Standards and Industrial Research, and Deputy Chairman of the Singapore Economic Development Board, as well as the National Productivity Board.

In the non-profit space, Ms Ho is Chairman of Trailblazer Foundation, and a board member of Wellcome LEAP. She is adviser to the Autism Resource Centre, and is the patron of the Autism Association of Singapore, and the Assisi Hospice Singapore.

Dr Hsu Li Yang is an infectious diseases physician who is currently Vice Dean of Global Health at the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, NUS. He is also Associate Director of the Singapore Centre for Environmental Life Sciences Engineering, a Research Centre of Excellence on biofilms and microbial communities based jointly at Nanyang Technological University and NUS.
